I like the design of it, but it's a little big and heavy for my tastes. It is 1" as described, but to the top of the Buddha's head, that is, not including the hoop, so that makes it proportionally quite a bit bigger than I was expecting. It's really more like 1 1/4" overall. I feel a little bit like Greg Brady wearing "The Idol" as he goes out to surf on the Hawaiian Vacation episodes, you know? It actually is thick enough at the base to stand on its own, which adds to the weight. It may actually wind up glued to my dashboard instead of on a chain. I really, really like the design....
